Take care, 2012
Vídeo três canais HD, 6'20", cor, som. Three-Channel HD Video, 6'20", color, sound.
“Take Care” pretende entender e retratar a
tristeza inesperada e o sentido de perda nas
nossas vidas. O trabalho é composto de
afirmações e imagens de personagens
ficcionadas, representando um tempo na vida de
alguém. Histórias intermitadas com flashbacks,
como os múltiplos fragmentos da memória de
vida. As imagens que se sobrepõem no tempo
mostram que o bem e o mal da vida podem
co-existir. Os percalços e amarguras podem-se
traduzir em sofrimento, mas também podem ser
um ponto de partida para descobrir o que é a
felicidade.

“Take Care” attempts to grasp and portray
unexpected sadness and sense of loss in lives.
The work is composed of statements and
images of fictional characters, representing a
certain status of one’s life. Stories are
interspersed with flashbacks, just like those
multiple fragments of memory of life. Images
overlapping in time show that the good and the
bad of lives might exist at the same time.
Those minor mishaps and sorrows could be an
affliction, but also be a starting point for you
to find what happiness really is.
